Medical Interest

I have been interested in medicine for as long as I can remember because of my Grandpa’s service as a doctor in Vietnam. After I attended the National Student Leadership Medical Conference at Duke and gained exposure to different professionals in the medical school, I knew that I wanted to pursue medicine more seriously. I loved getting hands-on experience, but I have also come to love the administrative side of medicine because of the opportunities to create large-scale positive impact.

Healthcare Administration

My experiences interacting with community members have taught me that access to adequate medical care is far from guaranteed. This has led me to develop a passion for making healthcare more accessible and equatable. Check out Conexiones Saludables for more information.
